The Potters have made their first signing of transfer deadline day, taking 31 year old striker Henri Camara on loan from Wigan until the end of the season. Camara will become the fifth Senegalese player at the club, linking up with compatriots Salif Diao, Ibrahima Sonko and Daimion Stafford Jersey Amdy and Abdoulaye Faye. It seems likely he has played his last game for Wigan as his contract there expires at the end of this Xavier Grimble Jersey season.Camara joins Stoke on loanThe striker, who has 99 caps for his country, began his career in England with Wolves in 2003 before joining Wigan in 2005. He has scoredtwentygoals in 69 league games for the Latics and has also enjoyed succe sful loan spells at Celtic and Southampton, and an unhappy loan period at West Ham last season, where he made just ten league appearances and failed to score. I am happy J.J. Wilcox Jersey with the addition of Camara as I believe he is a decent quality Premier League player with a good goalscoring record during his time at Wigan. I also think he offers something slightly different to the current Stoke forward line as he isa playerin the mould of nippy goal poacher, something we have lacked. I am interested to see what lies ahead for the other strikers at the club Cameron Heyward Jersey now, with James Beattie, Ricardo Fuller, Mamady Sidibe, Dave Kitson and Richard Cre swell all vying for a place in the side it seems po sible that at least one forward will leave the club today, with Merril Hoge Jersey both Fuller and Kitson being linked with moves to Portsmouth, though this seems unlikely after their signing of Greek forward Theofanis Gekas yesterday. While I see Camara as a good addition to the squad, I still hope we see a lot more transfer action from the Britannia Stadium before todays five o clock deadline.
